Vince serves as our Regional Vice President for the Southeast Region and is responsible for managing our Area Market Managers in the states of Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Kentuck, as well as leading all business development activities and client relationship support throughout the Southeast market.  

With over 30 years of experience as a commercial banker, lender and underwriter, Vince has held positions with several of the region's largest banks to include, Senior Vice President, Market Executive with Signature Bank in Peachtree City.  Vince has a proven track record serving as a Vice President with Synovus Bank, South Trust Bank, Hamilton State Bank, Ameris Bank, Touchmark National Bank, BB&T, Wells Fargo, and Bank of Atlanta.

Vince is a graduate of Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

                                                                                            ADAM BUICE

                                                                                   Area Market Manager 

Mr. Buice serves as our Area Market Manager in Atlanta, primarily focusing on working with businesses and commercial real estate owners-operators in the North-Metro region of the city.

Adam is a proven lending professional with a 20-year career in commercial banking, CRE lending, and residential mortgage origination.  He has worked for several national banks and local community banks in Georgia, as well as regional and local mortgage companies.  Adam has served as a Business Banking Officer for Regions Bank and as Vice President, Commercial Lending with SunTrust Bank in Gainesville.  He held the position of Vice President of Business Banking with Wells Fargo in Cumming, Georgia and Assistant Vice President of Business Banking with Chestatee State Bank in Dawsonville, GA.

Mr. Buice also has extensive residential mortgage origination experience.  During his career as a loan originator, he has worked for multiple mortgage lenders to include Silverton Mortgage, Pinnacle Mortgage Services and Mortgage Investors Group.

Adam is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration,

Finance & Risk Management.

                                                                                             KAREN BOOTH

                                                                         Area Vice President/Market Manager 

Mrs. Booth serves as our Area Vice President/Market Manager for the Savannah market and is responsible for new business development activities and client business support throughout the Georgia Coast.

With over 35 years of commercial banking experience, Karen has held various senior management positions that include Relationship & Portfolio Manager for both small and large businesses, Credit underwriter, Credit approval officer, and New Business Development Officer.   Karen’s client base is very diverse, consisting of manufacturers, distributors, service businesses, retailers and real estate developers.

Prior to joining Southern Capital Funding, Karen was a Director and Commercial Banking Team Leader with a leading national bank in the Northeast market covering Connecticut and upstate New York.  Additionally, she held several positions at Citizen’s Bank (formerly State Street Bank of Boston) and other regional banks in the Northeast, that ultimately merged into Fleet Bank/Bank of America. 

Karen’s expertise is in building strong business relationships externally, with clients and business professionals and she takes a consultative approach to find financing solutions for her clients.

Karen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Fairfield University and she earned her MBA from The University of New Haven.
