Philip Lamar serves as Senior Vice President for Southern Capital Funding Network’s Southwest Region, where he is responsible for expanding SCFN’s presence, developing strategic relationships, and connecting business owners, investors, developers, and professional referral partners with creative commercial financing solutions.

A seasoned banking and business development executive, Philip brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in commercial banking, lending, business development, community development, strategic partnerships, and organizational growth. His experience includes owning and  operating a successful mortgage company in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as well as serving as Vice President at Bank OZK, where he played a key role in launching and building a new banking division from the ground up.

This diverse experience gives him a strong understanding of both the needs of borrowers and the considerations that influence lending decisions. At SCFN, Philip takes a relationship-driven approach to helping clients identify financing solutions. He works closely with commercial realtors, bankers, financial advisors, business owners, investors, and developers to understand their objectives and connect them with appropriate capital solutions through SCFN’s extensive lending network.

Philip holds an MBA from John Brown University and is bilingual, with extensive experience working across cultures and international environments. He is focused on building trusted referral partnerships and expanding SCFN’s commercial financing opportunities throughout Texas and the broader Southwest market while delivering the responsive, relationship-centered service that distinguishes SCFN.
