Southern Capital Funding Network, LLC

The company was formed in 2014 by a private group of seasoned, experienced lending professionals with one thing in mind: “Provide small business owners and commercial real estate investors in the Southeast with fast, reliable sources of capital to support their continued growth and success.”

The principal founder of the company began providing working capital and arranging alternative financing for small businesses throughout the Southeast in 1988. Our Regional Directors and Area Market Managers have a proven track record working for small businesses in several different business sectors, as well as working for large multi-national corporations and banking institutions.   This helps provide our management team with a unique perspective in what it is like to operate a business in today’s challenging marketplace.

Unlike most of the larger banks, we understand the daily challenges most small business owners and commercial real estate investors face.  At Southern Capital Funding Network, we understand that every business or real estate investment is different.  Unlike most local community banks and larger national lending institutions that can only offer SBA loans or conventional bank loans, we can help arrange several alternative capital solutions to the business owner or real estate investor.

Due to the unique background and experience of our management team, we service some areas of the small business community and real estate investment sectors that are often overlooked and not supported by local traditional sources of capital financing.

Veteran Owned Small Businesses

There are more than 2.4 million businesses operated by veterans nationwide.  Despite this growing trend towards entrepreneurship, funding options that specifically benefit veterans are difficult to find.

Southern Capital Funding Network prides itself on being co-founded and managed by a United States Air Force veteran who proudly served overseas as well as stateside and is proud to be a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB)!

As a veteran of the United States military, you have proven yourself to be highly motivated, goal oriented and able to get the job done no matter what obstacles you encounter.  We understand where you came from and what you have been through to get to this point. We want to help.

When you work with Southern Capital Funding Network to obtain funding for working capital or a commercial real estate loan for your business, you will have the opportunity to work directly with someone just like you – a military veteran!

Southern Capital Funding Network is a proud member of the Veteran Owned Business Project which  is the leading network portal of over 25,000 businesses owned by military veterans, active duty military, reservists, service-disabled veteran owned businesses and military spouses of the United States Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard and National Guard.

Women Owned Small Businesses

We pride ourselves on being champions of female entrepreneurs and providing business loans for women.  Statistically,    women now start businesses at higher rates than men do, and minority women start businesses at the highest rate of all, but they do not always have the same access to business financing as their male counterparts.

Per the National Women’s National Council, as of 2018, there were over 9,932,434 women-owned businesses in the United States.  Of non-farm and non-publicly-held businesses, 36.0% were women-owned and generated $1.6 trillion in revenues.

Southern Capital Funding Network is proud to be co-founded by a woman who successfully built and managed several small businesses over a 20+ year career and understands the needs and challenges women-owned small businesses face.

Using this experience, we can help the woman business owner navigate the numerous working capital programs available within our network and find the program that best fits their needs.

More importantly, the female business owner has the opportunity to work with one of our women Regional Directors or Area Market Managers who understand the challenges women business owners face and can guide them through the process.

Foreign National Owned Small Businesses

Foreign-born entrepreneurs (Immigrants & Foreign Nationals) own 1 out of 5 of the small businesses in the United States, and own 18 percent of the businesses with fewer than 100 employees.

In addition, Immigrants and Foreign Nationals own 28 percent of small businesses in the leisure and hospitality fields as well as a majority of small taxi, dry cleaning and gas station businesses.   They also  made up 43 percent of hotel or motel owners and 37 percent of restaurant operators.  Immigrants also operated a substantial share of doctors’ offices, owning 26 percent of the nation’s physician offices.

At Southern Capital Funding Network, we are able to provide sources of financing to foreign-born entrepreneurs, and commercial real estate investors not typically made available through local banks.

For the commercial real estate investor, we have excellent Foreign National Commercial Loan Programs that assists a foreign buyer who is purchasing a commercial real estate investment property using only their Visas and ITINs.
